Rock to the Top is inspired by the story of Oisín i dTír na n-Óg, who single-handedly threw a boulder up the valley at Glenasmole. You are invited to join the challenge of recreating this mythic feat by carrying a small piece of the granite boulder from Tallaght to make a cairn at the foot of Kippure. For Seachtain na Gaeilge there will be bilingual performances of Oisín’s story at Rua Red and along the way.

I gcomhair le Gaelphobal Thamhlachta do Seachtain na Gaeilge beidh Aisteoirí Thamhlachta ag léiriú drámaí gearra faoi scéal Oisín i dTír na nÓg ag tús na siúlóide, agus i nGleann na Smól, áit a mbíodh Fionn is na Fianna ag seilbh tráth. Seans do chuid Ghaeilge a úsáid ar shiúlóid bhreá ar Shlí Shléibhte Bhaile Átha Cliath. Mar chuid de tionscadal ealaíne poiblí Rock to the Top le Ciarán Taylor a iarrann ar phobal Átha Chliath Theas teacht le chéile chun aithris a dhéanamh ar éacht Oisín (as Tír na nÓg) a chaith carraig mhór suas an sliabh, gar do Thamhlacht. Iarrtar ort píosa bheag de charraig mhór atá lonnaithe ag Rua Red a iompar go dtí na sléibhte chun cairn nua a thógáil ar Cipiúr.
