Clamour & Roar – A Citizens’ Chorus is a mixed discipline, multi-generational, cross-community participatory art project which culminated in an original theatre performance devised by theatre artist Veronica Coburn.
Visual artist Fiona Dowling and composer George Higgs collaborated with workers from a cross-section of workplaces, both industrial and rural, to create Work Songs, a musical portrait of South County Dublin's economic profile.
Inspired by the story of Oisín i dTír na n-Óg, who single-handedly lifted a boulder up the mountains near Tallaght, Ciarán Taylor’s Rock to the Top invited the people of South Dublin to take up the challenge of recreating this mythic feat by working together.
IN CONTEXT 4 - IN OUR TIME Launch Commission Cathy Coughlan (Havoc Dance Company) created a new site-specific dance commission responding to the context of South Dublin County.
