IN CONTEXT 4 - IN OUR TIME Launch Commission
Cathy Coughlan (Havoc Dance Company) created a new site-specific dance commission responding to the context of South Dublin County.
SUBTOPIAN BALLAD sought to document and to capture the pulse of South Dublin County in order to illustrate the context for the IN CONTEXT 4 - IN OUR TIME programme.
Led by writer Nathan O’Donnell, The Mill is inspired by the Clondalkin Paper Mill and the legacy of the 1980s’ strikes there.
Inspired by the story of Oisín i dTír na n-Óg, who single-handedly lifted a boulder up the mountains near Tallaght, Ciarán Taylor’s Rock to the Top invites the people of South Dublin to take up the challenge of recreating this mythic feat by working together.
